Would classify them as one of the worst small engines ever made. While they looked good and were better than walking, the courses we played were fairly dusty which was the kiss of death for them as their air filter system was a joke. my father bought our first hd golf cart in 1963. I started playing golf in the early 60's.
Anyone have info where to get parts and manuals? I bought a 77' model D4 2 stroke 4 wheel Harley Davidson golf cart. Its nice to really own a piece of history. I love this cart because in my mind if you don't have a 63-69 you don't have a real Harley Davidson because that's when the company made them. Of interested email me at or call me at 30. Id love to show pics but cant seem to figure it out on here. I also just purchased a brand new battery charger. All original except i replaced 6 solenoids and 6 batteries. I have a 1966 electric 3 wheel Harley Davidson golf cart. PS All golf carts should have the bag carrier made this way, excellent as the bag hangs under the crossbar and you pull the clubs out rather than lifting them way up to get them out on regular carts. Need any help, I am now damn near an expert on them LOL painted her harley colours and dolled her up with harley flaps and floor matts. These babies can drive you nuts trying to keep them running. I have a harlet davidson 69d model golf cart that i am restoring. Have you ever heard of this cart? I can send you pic if you would like. It has a place to place your clubs and drinks if you like. It is not a riding cart but weighes about 150 lbs, is n\made of fiberglass, has 2 wheels in the back and one in the front with a remote control you put in your back pocket and it stays 6 frrt behind you at all times when you are walking. I have a very rare ELECTRO-CADDY golf cart produced in the early to mid 70's by a company in california thas after producing around 1000 carts went out of business.
